The problem: cooling was done by hand
Before this conveyor, dumplings coming out of the machine were cooled manually. It took a long time and production could not run continuously, because the product had to be collected and left to cool before moving on to the next step.
The solution: a three-tier cooling conveyor
In 2022 we designed and installed one conveyor line running from the production machine to the next cooling machine. The cooling section has three layers and is about 4 meters long. Because the product travels across all three layers, the cooling path is roughly three times longer without taking up more floor space.

The flow from start to finish
- Product comes in from the hopper.
- It leaves the machine and moves across a roller transfer.
- An incline conveyor carries the product up.
- From the top of the incline, the product drops onto the cooling conveyor.
- On the 3-layer conveyor, blowers cool the product as it keeps moving.
- The output goes straight into the next cooling machine.

The materials we used
The whole frame is stainless steel, because food production areas have to be easy to clean and able to handle daily washing. The belt is modular, made of food grade POM, safe for direct food contact and strong. If a module gets damaged, only that module needs replacing, not the whole belt. For cooling we use blowers that push air over the product as it travels across all three layers.
The result
Cooling now runs continuously. The product no longer has to be collected and left to cool, so the line keeps running without a pause at this stage.

If your plant still cools products by hand, or your production floor is tight, a multi-tier conveyor like this is worth considering. We adjust the length, number of layers, and speed to your product and capacity. See also our modular conveyor service.
